Sustainable Beer Branding


Washed Up was conceptualised from my passion for ocean care. Every bottle tells a story, utilising a drink at the pub to talk about and save our ocean.
Almost 2 billion litres of beer is consumed per year in Australia alone. Washed Up aims to put in place small changes, that make a large impact.
Each bottle is unique, utilising recycled sea glass from our beaches for the bottles. The brand further evokes sustainability with its cardboard packaging and recyclable materials.
One of the key promotional materials that pushes the message of ocean care is a Washed Up drinking game. Whilst feeling like a drinking game, it inspires conversation about ocean care in a fun and casual matter, through facts and game questions.
All together, brand evokes a sense of fun and interest through its unique typography and retro characters. The brand further peaks interest though its initiatives for ocean care and messages to promote saving the ocean.
